What is causing the need for co-signer credit, income or both? Chattel loans which are secured by personal property as collateral that you can pick up at American General, Household Finance or Citiroup will often permit this- the variables are income, credit, employment and assets- this is as important as a good credit rating- can you provide more info? I can't seem to bring their site up right now, but my guess is they'd be fine with out of state co-signers since it's ordinary people that fund your loan.
