Please please please think this through. When I was in college, I had student loans pay for everything -- usually what I would do when I stayed all year long at school was get loans to cover my living expenses each semester, and then in order to stay there over the summer one year, I had to take out a separate loan over the summer.

Now, I graduated from college in 2005, and was unable to find anything until 2008 that paid me over $10 an hour (thanks to the wonderful economy of Michigan). My student loans account for $200 of my bills each month -- I owed $25,000 in student loans. If you are talking about getting loans for your entire amount, and you (hope) that you are one of the lucky ones who is done in four years, you will have $64,000 in loans. This is possible, but imagine after college.. paying $400 a month in student loans. Even if you are making $20 an hour doing something really great, that's still a chunk of change.

I didn't start working until my junior year, but believe me, time won't be nearly as much of a problem as you think it is. In fact, I did a lot better in school when I was working because of the time management aspect.

If you file your fafsa and you are eligible, you could possibly get that much money in loans per year. But if there's anything I regret about college, it's spending my financial aid money on stupid crap!! :)

Unless you are going to be in class 24/7 ANY student (save maybe med school students or college seniors/nurses with intern commitments) can have a job. Even if its only 3 or 4 hours a day a few days a week.
federal loans have limits on them for a reason. Don't borrow money to live off of just to maintain a "Lifestyle" you can't afford as a college student.
seriously.

Sell the car, move in with a relative or get a roommate and charge them enough to make your car payment. No one should borrow that much money a year just for a 2 year school.

Hope it helps!!

There are so many uses for old secured personal loans, and the chances are you will be able to get one quickly and easily. It's a common idea that only homeowners can get loans from finance companies. That just isn't true, most people can apply for, and receive an unsecured personal all kinds of uses. You can get loans from a fewday loan, and some companies let you apply online. The interest rate you pay will be made very clear to by the broker before you sign anything. As will the amount of the monthly payment, and how long you have to make those payments for. Any quality broker will go out of his way to make sure you understand these rules.
