Has anyone been approved for a personal loan with North American General Financial?

We sent them the “security” through Western Union (to Canada) to never see the proceeds of the loan. We have filed complaints with the local authorities and bbb, has anyone else been SCAMMED by this company?

This is a classic scam. Never send money to anyone via Western Union. Also, any bank that makes a legitimate offer to you is doing so based on a basic credit profile. Even though you’re “pre-qualified” they will always require an application, a credit report for your specifically, and will almost never require a fee.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I have not been scammed by that particualr compnay, but i have been scammed by Rockwell Capital Group. They too required me to send collateral. Try not to do this with anyother company. Especially if it’s to Canada. I too have to watch out.

No….I have not heard of that company…..BUT I did get scammed by the Rockwell Capital Group…I sent my money thru western union to Canada b/c i got approved for a $5000.00 loan. I sent them 4 collateral payments up front…$900.00 they assured me several times that the money would be direct deposit into my bank account within 24 hours…they called me the next day and told me that there was an issue….they got my money, but I could not get the $5000. unless i sent them 4 more payments up front…I told them to cancel the loan and refund my money….they said they would and i would get my refund 30 days from now…Im not holding my breath…..NEVER wire money to canada….i talked to a western union representative and they said there are so many scams going on right now….with loans and sending collateral payments to canada…..DONT’T DO IT……..
