   Try to look for scholarships, grants, etc. There is financial aid for those in all levels of study. Also, you can look at alternative loans like the Sallie Mae Foundation. I hope this helps and more importantly, I hope that your health has improved.

   Some major banks offer student loans and personal loans for students. There are alternative loans offered on the state level in addition to the federal loans. If you take out a private loan you would do better getting one from a credit union because they have lower interest rates.

   You may be able to qualify for research and study grants offered by the medical school. Check with the research department. Also the financial aid office can give you more specific information on how to obtain funds to complete your clinicals. There are scholarships and grants at your university to help you through this time. Just inquiry and apply.
