I want to know if there are places where you can get personal loans where you don’t have to pay a lot each

personal loans
uswhiteghost2 asked:

back each month. I think I put my question in the wrong place last time. I do not mean for like a student loan, I need the loan for something that isn’t for schooling. I also need to know if it would affect my SSI income.
I am not a scam. I don’t want to be scammed. I need the money for something very personal & important to me.

Your SSI would be listed on a loan application as the basis for repayment of a loan. Having a loan should not affect your income.

How much you have to repay each month depends on how much you are borrowing & for how long. Usually Banks will do personal loans for 3-5 years max. A Personal Line of Credit might offer you a lower repayment term, but you’d have to check with your bank first.

    Yes.

I found about this site from consumer advocate Clark Howard (WSB radio in Atlanta). It’s totally legit. All loans are non secured and payable over 3 years. Those are the only terms available. You’ll have to read and go through the borrowers tutorial program. I think you’ll like what you see.

Dang! The “Application Form” for Mr. Cobb James’ lending organization appears to be a model of brevity. As they say, “the best economy is brevity of words”. This one doesn’t even require my social security number! So, poor credit isn’t just not a problem, prior credit is totally irrelevant!!! I wish my bank had this admirable philosophy:-)) I really must go to my bank manager and scold him for wasting my and others’ time:-))

Unfortunately, this site is overrun with scam artists offering people loans. Many of the people answering above appear to be the same old scam artists I have seen on this site before. You should assume that anyone offering you a loan is a scam artist until proven otherwise. Remember that real lenders never ask for an advance fee. Any fees they require are added to the loan amount, you never pay for them upfront. If you pay an advance fee, they will take your money and run. Never give personal information to someone who may be an identity thief.
