My advice is to save and not take out a loan.

It’s great that you want to pay off bills, but taking a loan will not stop the debt. You’ll have to pay off the loan just like you have to pay off the bills.

1) Get a second/third job to pay off the bills
2) How much does your family need and why? Why do they have to look to you? Why do you have to take the loan out for them?
3) You have a debt problem and need to address THAT before even considering a loan.

Also, do NOT look for loans online. If you have a good underwriter, you’re going to be fine. However, you will have to talk with someone face-to-face.
