Hello, basically, a 578 credit score tells potential lenders that you are not credit worthy or if you are, you'll get hit with a crazy high interest rate.

I suggest going to and apply for a loan there. I swear i'm NOT spamming... but prosper.com is a community of just regular folks who bid on giving you a loan. They each bid a small piece of it. So, if you're asking for a 5K loan, you could theoretically have 100 50dollar biddders and you make a loan payment just to prosper and they dispurse the funds appropriately. Chances are, if you state a good case, you'll get funded and there will be no banks to worry about.</description>
