definitely student loan and hopefully he will be able to get a government subsidized loan. They have very low rates and you pay after you graduate. And even if he does not qualify an unsubsidized loan is always better than a personal loan.

student loan. Or, whatever has lower interest rates, which is most likely the student loan. That way, you don’t have to start paying it off until after he graduates. He can also deduct a student loan on his taxes.

Don’t pay off the whole years rent up front. Pay by the month. This way if you have the money and it is in your account, then you get the interest. Another thing is that if you move out early, then you won’t be out the money. Don’t get a loan but pay as you go because you will be better off. If you don’t have the money for tuition, then get a student loan for that because it will be a lower interest rate and you don’t have to repay it until you get out of school.
