I am already in a Debt Management Program, that does not leave me enough money to even put gas in my car or food on the table. I am still searching for another full-time job in addition to the 8-10 hours a day I already work.

Hello–I now have a full-time job and live with my boyfriend (sharing rent and all expenses), but I am still unable to pay off all my credit cards (with a very hight rate of 30%). In 2 years +, I’ve only managed to pay the interest, nothing more, so I still owe the exact amount as in January 2004. I am desperate and thinking of asking some of my friends for a personal loan at a more reasonable rate…What do you think? Would that ruin our friendship? Is it a terrible idea?
