Anyone know of a good personal loan company that works with people with bad credit ?

My husband and I have been trying to get a loan but the only two places that approved us turned out to be scam artists located in Canada. We’re in the USA.
This isnt to pay credit cards, we dont have credit card debt. And Im not getting a loan to purchase anything. It’s to pay off other bills that we are behind on.
We need at least 4 grand to be caught up and back on our feet. We have a bunch of payday loans that we got and they take the money right from my hubbys pay check. If we get them paid off and other bills caught up we wont have aprob paying back the loan but our credit is horrible and no one else will give us the time of day to explain our situation and prove we can repay.
